Oriano isn’t a name that is well known in England, which is surprising since it is the an Irish company and holds the distinction of being the best selling range of leather handbags in Ireland. Oriano have a large range of leather handbags in a wide variety of styles, and the thing that we love about them is that they are very well priced and are very good quality. A typical Oriano handbag will cost between £80 and £120, which is about half the price that you’d expect to pay for a more recognised name, with Oriano Clutch Bags coming in at around the £50 mark. Gionni is in the same bracket as Oriano handbags (not surprising since they are made by the same company), in that they are the best selling range of fashion bags (ie, not leather handbags) in Ireland, but are virtually unheard of in the rest of the UK. Again there is a huge choice of different styles and types of bag, with patent handbags, mock croc effects and other leather hide reminiscent materials, and the price is also extremely good. A typical Gionni handbag will set you back around £30 – £40, which is incredible when compared to (in our opinion) lower quality bags that you’ll find on the highstreet. Dice is the third and final brand that belongs to the same company making the Oriano and Gionni ranges, Dice is another range of fashion bags, but these are more subtle than the Gionni range. Whilst Gionni is more of an out and about or party kind of fashion bag, the Dice ranges are more restrained and are more like the smart, chic, and professional looking kind of bag that you’d take to the office. The prices are around the same as the Gionni ranges, and the quality of the bags is excellent as with the Oriano and Gionni. Dice handbags are stocked at Behold the Bag.
Smith & Canova are not very well known outside of the handbag industry, but they produce some of the best quality, best value, and best priced leather handbags available in the Uk. S&C are responsible for manufacturing the Harrods range of handbags, and they are available from Behold the Bag.
Claudia Canova handbags are made by Smith & Canova and are the groups range of fashion bags, carrying on the tradition of high quality and fantastic pricing. Claudia Canova fashion bags are available from Behold the Bag.
Ciccia are becoming a very well known brand of handbags. They have a very Radley feel to them, not surprising since their designer is Ruth Pinnock, ex designer of Radley handbags. Ciccia are made from exceptional quality leather, and you usually get a little pot of leather polish, a polishing cloth, and a cat paw emery board free with each Ciccia bag!
